NYC is known as one of the great fashion hubs of the world. From luxury boutiques, designer flagships, fast-fashion emporiums, and fashion shows in NYC, you will find it all in every corner of the five boroughs. Check out a few of the year-round events happening in the Big Apple.
Fall Fashion Events – September 8-15, 2016
Take a trip to check out New York Fashion Week kicking off September 8 to include industry only and open to the public shows. The following are free with a RSVP, SMGlobal Catwalk, Nolcha Shows, Noneillah Collection, and J Loren.
Winter Fashion Events
Winter time brings plenty of fashion, exhibits, and designs to NYC. Explore NYC’s Garment District during a two-hour tour, led by Mike Kaback. Check out the Costume Institute's winter exhibition. Or see the creatively reused designs by Luisa Cevese.
Spring Fashion Events
Take a tour of the Paris Refashioned, 1957–1968 exhibits at The Museum at FIT. Explore the mark the upper class left in NYC through costumes, jewelry, and portraits created from the mid-1870s through the early 20th century.
Summer Fashion Events
Check out the collaboration of the luxury label Kenzo and H&M bringing patterns and playful energy to the fashion world.
